Special Collections - Fruits of Labor: Food, Housekeeping, Wine, and Agriculture: Wine

Introduction

Napa Valley is known for the wine industry, and we have several books that concern wine from how to grow the grapes to harvesting, producing, and distributing this alcoholic favorite.  The books that are housed in the Special Collections are rare, valuable, and/or delicate books, so it is important to handle them with care.

Viticulture, Production, and Distribution

From planting to picking to the creation process to tasting to distribution, the Napa Valley Wine industry is a thriving enterprise, and there are many books that discuss these processes.
