LGBTQIA+ Pride Month June 2022: LGBTQIA+ PRIDE MONTH 2022

The American LGBTQ+ Museum preserves, investigates, and celebrates the dynamic histories and cultures of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people, as well as those of the emergent and adjacent identities among LGBTQ+ communities.

This year’s 38th annual Sonoma County Pride Celebration spans three days of events and activities designed to appeal to a large diversity of tastes as well as to invite our neighbors from the entire bay area to join the weekend fun. Our festival will be returning to the fabulous downtown Santa Rosa on Courthouse Square.

Our 2023 theme, COMMUNITY!, is all about being together in the spirit of diversity and belonging. Celebrating our connectedness through our vast differences and our sameness to realize we are all in this together. Each of us is a unique individual, yet we are united.

Wednesday, June 22nd at 6PM - Come out & dance at Napa’s premiere nightclub, Blue Note Napa. DJ Rotten Robbie will be spinning the Pride tunes all night long so grab your rainbow gear and your fancy footwear.

Friday, June 24, 10:30am - Delores Park, San Francisco CA

The Trans March 2022 Planning Committee is happy to announce that for 2022, we be hosting an “in-person” event. It will be on Friday, June 24, 2022.

Our rights and existence have been more intensely under attack since the election so it’s even more critical that we gather this year to fight back, resist, celebrate and create community.

Let’s make this a huge showing of how powerful and incredible we are!

The city’s official in-person celebration finally returns for the first time in three years. Festivities for 2022 include a two-day festival; a parade with Dykes on Bikes kicking it off at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, and many additional events throughout the month.

The GLBT Historical Society Museum, located in the heart of San Francisco’s Castro District, is the first stand-alone museum of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender history and culture in the United States. It celebrates San Francisco’s vast queer past through dynamic and surprising exhibitions and programming.
