🍲 Podcasts with Seasonal Themes + Soup

Food Friends: Home Cooking Made Easy

This is a really good one. The hosts are former personal chefs who focus on seasonal cooking. (Apple Podcasts) Example episodes:

Always in Season

This podcast is all about seasonal and sustainable eating — what’s in season, how to source ingredients, and simple cooking tips. (Apple Podcasts) While not always exclusively about soups or stews, its focus on seasonality makes it a good fit.

Simmering Comfort: A Cozy Soup Podcast

Very on the nose: an episode titled Simmering Comfort: A Cozy Soup Podcast explores homemade soups. (Spreaker) Shorter episodes (this one is ~4 minutes), but evocative and great for that cozy, warming cooking feel.

Season’s Eatings Podcast

This is a history / origin-of-holiday-foods podcast. For example: Pork Hock Stew episode dives into the history of that dish in French-Canadian tradition. (seasonseatingspodcast.libsyn.com) Very thematic around “season” in the calendar sense (holidays), which may appeal if you're interested in seasonal food traditions.

Dinner Sisters

While not always strictly “seasonal,” they do episodes focused on seasonal comfort cooking. For example: Winter Stew and Salad where they talk about hearty stew + salad combos. (Podbay) Their show often centers on approachable, home-cooked meals.

💵 Budget-Friendly / Frugal Cooking Podcasts

The Frugal Friends Podcast

Focused on saving money, frugal living, and food.

  • Episode Meal Prep + Freezer Meal Tips teaches how to prep freezer meals — super useful for stretching food, especially coming into colder seasons. (frugalfriendspodcast.com)
  • Episode The Key to Simple & Budget Friendly Meal Plans with Mandy Klentz covers planning meals in a way that saves money and reduces waste. (frugalfriendspodcast.com)

Eat | Drink | Cheap

Exactly addresses rising food costs via “old recipes + new techniques.” (Apple Podcasts) Very on target for budget-conscious cooking, preservation, and making seasonal (or leftover) ingredients stretch.

Simple Farmhouse Life Podcast

Episode Reverse Meal Planning: Stock-Up Stapes & Grocery Hacks with Christine of Frugal Fit Mom: practical advice for stocking a pantry, finding deals, and cooking for less. (simplefarmhouselifepodcast.com)
