The library provides access to millions of eBooks in diverse subjects. Some you can access with your campus login and others require a library card.

Print Books

Circulating books - books from the main shelves.

Can be checked out for 3 weeks. If no one has placed a hold on the item, you can renew the loan in your library account or by contacting the library.
Up to 50 books can be borrowed at a time.
Fees are currently suspended; however, the library has the right to request that a hold be placed on your ability to register for classes if you fail to return library materials.

Library Catalog
All of the print books available through the NVC Library and the Napa Public Library System. Please note item location. If you wish to borrow an item from one library and pick it up at another, please submit a hold or one-click request.
Link+
A combined catalog of over 11 million books from 60 libraries throughout California and Nevada. With your library card, you can request any LINK+ book that isn't available locally to be delivered to your local branch in about a week.
Library Card
A library card is required in order to borrow materials in the library catalog.

Course reserves books - the library owns many of the books used in your classes which you can borrow for 2-hours at a time from the library. For more information please see this page.

Reference Collection - the library has a large print collection of refence materials (encyclopedia, dictionaries, maps & atlases, etc.). These books can not be taken out of the library. For online reference, please see our reference databases.
